HIP-Petrohemija invests eur 1.5 million in FSK
This investment will bring savings to the plant of approximately EUR 1.4 million per year, and start-up of a new plant is planned for 2012. Ms Kalanovic said that the Government will support the investment cycle which comprises the erection of the new plant.
“The project of erection such a plant is supported by the Government of Serbia. The idea for this project has been initiated by the experts from this plant and for me it is a proof that in this country there are a lot of dormant knowledge, resources and initiative. The sum in question is EUR 1.4 million, and this amount will be returned in 14 months“ – said Ms Verica Kalanovic.
Mr Milovan Eremic, Director of the Synthetic Rubber Plant, Elemir, said that this plant presently operates with its full capacities, that all three units are in function, and that 80 percent of the produced rubber is exported to foreign markets, including 23 European countries and China.
