In HIP-Petrohemija a.d. Pančevo, the pollutant emissions in the air mostly come from the incineration unit and to a lesser extent from the technology emitters and waste water treatment system.
Reduction of total pollutant emissions in the air has been achieved by undertaking preventive, monitoring and technical-technological measures, using natural gas as cleaner energy source, removing of harmful gases through application of appropriate technological procedures, equipment modernization and new technologies introduction.
