Production Suspension in HIP-Petrohemija
As from today HIP-Petrohemija is going to suspend its production in the Ethylene Plant and other production plants in Pančevo. The Company enters into this suspension with petrochemicals stock ready for shipment.
During the time of non-operation it will continue to fulfill the planned obligations towards both domestic and foreign buyers, to keep the market regularly supplied with its products.
During this temporary sutdown the activities shall be organized on the process equipment functionality checkups and cleaning, in order to ensure, once when the circumstances allow, the safe restart of the petrochemical plants and their efficient operation.
During the process of plants shutdown it may be expected the flare flame to be increased, as well as the noise, what is normal result when respecting all the safety procedures for the planned shutdown.
All the activities during the production shutdown process in HIP-Petrohemija are in full compliance with the company current safety procedures, all with the prupose of safety and health protection of the employees, as well as the protection of the working and living environment. The competent institutions have been informed about the plants shutdown.
