Dismantling completed and equipment installation started in HDPE Plant
For only twelve days since the investment operations officially started in HIP-Petrohemija, on September 15th, 2012, the PF section dismantling in the HDPE Plant was completed.
“In addition to all the equipment in the PF section, the compressor and internal filter in the HDPE Plant were also dismantled. Dismantling of the less risky equipment which was positioned at 30 meters height was slowed down by the wind, however thanks to great efforts of the Gosa montaza personnel, the main contractor, and the Project Team of HIP-Petrohemija, the works dynamics as anticipated by the management plan of the investment project realization has been observed“ – says Dusan Nikolic, Project Team Manager.
As Goran Vucetic, Manager of Gosa montaza’s Work Unit in Pancevo says, the works at HIP-Petrohemija's HDPE Plant are carried out in accordance with the plans and after the PF section dismantling is completed, installation of the structures and equipment will take place as well as fabrication of pipes for installing pipelines. “The personnel of Gosa montaza work 12 hours per day at the site in HIP-Petrohemija, and I do hope that all the works for which we are responsible will be completed before the deadlines given in the Gantt chart“ – says Vucetic. He also expressed his satisfaction with excellent cooperation between Gosa's and HIP- Petrohemija's people.
On Monday, September 17, the vendors from USA and Canada will begin checking the equipment which is going to be installed as soon as its installation is approved. During the following two weeks, by Monday, October 1st, the mechanical equipment will be installed in the HDPE Plant, including reactor elbows, internal filter, INRU, and blowing column. It will be followed by the works on the pipeline and after that the instrumental and electrical equipment will be installed. These works should be completed by November 15th.
