Assurance of the quality management system for accredited laboratory testing (coordination of designing, maintenance and constant improvement of the management system) in the Work Unit Laboratory is achieved through integrated management system: QMS-Quality Management System, EMS-Environmental Management System, OHS-Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and Management system for accredited laboratory testing according to the requirements of SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2006 standard.
Activities of the Work Unit Laboratory are divided into two main categories:
Quality control and improvement of the products
Laboratory tests are integral part of the production under controlled conditions and they are defined in Quality Plans of all HIP-Petrohemija plants. They include:
- Control of input material, auxiliary material and interim products
- Control of the process
- Final control and testing
- Testing at the request of the customer
Providing services to users
At the request of the service users, we provide testing of physical, chemical, mechanical and thermal properties by using classic analytical and instrumental methods.
Work Unit Laboratory consists of two departments – Analytic Laboratory and Polymer Laboratory.
Analytic Laboratory Department performs the following activities:
- Sampling and bringing samples of basic chemical products
- Spectroscopic testing
- Gas-chromatography testing
- Water testing
- Gasoline and oil testing
- Microbiological testing
- Classical analytical testing
- Participating in research projects for product improvement and environment protection, within the scope of its work
- Rendering services to users
Polymer Laboratory Department performs the following activities:
- Sampling and bringing polymer samples
- Mechanical testing of polymers
- Rheology testing of polymers
- Thermal testing of polymers
- Morphological testing of polymers
- Specific testing of pipes and fittings
- Participating in research projects for product improvement and developing new products, within the scope of its work
- Rendering services to users
