HIPREN® - Emulsion Styrene Butadiene Rubber (E-SBR)
HIPREN® E-SBR is produced by continual emulsion copolymerization of styrene and butadiene in cold reaction, under the Bunawerke Huls license (Germany). Styrene content is 23.5%.
E-SBR classification into series is made according to the polymerization temperature, styrene content and type, i.e. quantity of extender and filler. Within the same series, E-SBR types differ in Mooney viscosity, type of emulgator and coagulant, quantity and type of extender and filler.
HIP-Petrohemija produces types
- Series 1500 (E-SBR produced by cold polymerization, no extender)
- Series 1700 (E-SBR produced by cold polymerization, with extender)
Our HIPREN EM 1500T and HIPREN EM 1502T have Statement of Conformity regard to food contact issued by National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food, Maribor, Slovenia, which is valid in European Union.
