The Ministry of Defence awarded a special recognition to HIP-Petrohemija for its support and contribution in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Our company donated RSD 118 million to assist in the procurement of goods and equipment necessary to provide care and health and life protection for those who were most at risk for the COVID-19.
The ceremony of presenting military awards and recognitions to companies, individuals and media, who donated resources and supported the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Army in their fight against COVID-19 and for keeping it under control, was held yesterday in the Guard Club at Topčider.
The Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin expressed gratitude to all those who donated resources for the fight against COVID-19, in the name of Serbian government, Serbian President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, and also in the name of all the soldiers and patients, saying that the contributors deserve all the credits for enabling Serbia to show its best through the hardest times.
Chief of the General Staff of Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, presented the plaque to HIP-Petrohemija. In the name of the company, Director General Velimir Unković received the plaque, and expressed his thanks for this award, emphasizing that HIP-Petrohemija, as being a socially responsible company, soon after the state of emergency was declared, brought a decision about donation in order to support the government, health department and all the citizens in the fight against the COVID-19.
