HIP-PETROHEMIJA a.d. Pancevo
is a public stock company, operating in compliance with the Company
Law. The basic act of the Company is the Agreement of
Incorporation of a stock company for production of petrochemical
products, raw materials and chemicals HIP-Petrohemija Pancevo. The
main shareholder is Republic of Serbia (53.70% of capital), followed
by Development Fund of Republic of Serbia with 13.34%, JP Srbijagas
Novi Sad 13.09%, NIS a.d. Novi Sad 12.45%, Elektrovojvodina d.o.o.
Novi Sad 4.76% and Pančevo Municipality with 0.5%; socially owned
capital amounts 2.16% of total capital value.
HIP-Petrohemija is the leading
producer of petrochemicals in the South-East Europe, with operating tradition
over 30-years long. It covers an area of total 247 hectars on
three location: Pancevo, Elemir, and Crepaja. There are seven
production plants, each location having its own utility and
electrical distribution systems, waste waters treatment plants,
laboratories, and other necessary services.
HIP-Petrohemija can produce almost 700,000
tons of petrochemicals in a year. The products assortment includes
polymers - high density polyethylene (HDPE trade name
HIPLEX®), low density polyethylene (LDPE
trade name HIPTEN®),
and synthetic styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR trade name HIPREN®),
and basic products - ethylene, propylene, C4-fraction, pyrolitic oil,
pyrolitic gasoline, methyl tertiary buthyl ether (MTBE), 1,3-butadiene
and chlor-alkali products.. HIP-Petrohemija also produces HDPE compound and
polyethylene pipes for water, sewage, and natural gas.
In HIP-Petrohemija
great attention is paid to quality, environmental protection and
occupational health and safety, in
accordance with the requirements of integrated model pursuant to standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004
and OHSAS 18001:2007. More than 98% of our polymers are the first class
products, and they are regularly tested in our laboratory accredited in
accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2006. Polymers have
Statement of Conformity, which declares their conformity with the
European (EU) norms for materials intended to come into contact with
foodstuffs issued by Institute for Public Health, Maribor, Slovenia.
